This is what I imagine is going on in my neighbors' apartment just about any time they start to get loud. I swear, any "talking" they do must be directed upward while elevating themselves as close to the ceiling as they can.
And in the rare instances where the dude has his kid for a day or two, the baby is the quietest one.

Years ago, when I lived in an apartment, there was a woman who lived upstairs with her daughter. There'd be times, late at night, when it would sound like she was dropping bowling balls. And on other nights, it'd be the rumbling of a pretty strong motor. We used to joke that she had a gas-powered vibrator.

Why do neighbors have to suck? is it da' law?

My neighbors like to start arguing at 4 in the morning and slam every single door they have at least 3 times, then drive off with the music blasting.

Ugh. In that case I'd rather keep the neighbors I've got.
Mine usually do their arguing while I would normally still be awake. I've only been woken up by slamming doors and pre-dawn bouts a few times. I've got other neighbors on the street who have the blaring car stereos covered. haha!
